According to the statistics of Guangzhou Customs, from January to November in 2016, Guangzhou’s foreign trade imports and exports totaled 776.44 billion yuan, up 2.2% year on year. Of which, exports hit 475.97 billion yuan, up 3%, and imports 300.47 billion yuan, up 1%, year on year.

 

In November alone, Guangzhou’s foreign trade exports totaled 41.24 billion yuan, up 0.3% year on year, and up 0.5% in comparison with that of the previous month; and Guangzhou’s foreign trade imports totaled 32.72 billion yuan, up 24.9% year on year, and up 22.5% in comparison with that of the previous month.

 

From January to November in 2016, Guangzhou’s ordinary foreign trade imports and exports totaled 334.31 billion yuan, up 1.8% year on year. Of which, processing trade imports and exports hit 250.19 billion yuan, down 5.9%, and bonded logistics imports and exports 62 billion yuan, up 22.2%, and cross-border E-commerce imports and exports 11.9 billion yuan, up 92%, year on year.

 

According to statistics for the period from January to November in 2016, Guangzhou’s private enterprises’ imports and exports totaled 297.58 billion yuan, up 16.1% year on year; Guangzhou’s foreign-funded enterprises’ imports and exports totaled 357.38 billion yuan, down 2.3%, 1.7 percentage points lower than that of the first ten months; Guangzhou’s state-owned enterprises’ imports and exports totaled 119.4 billion yuan, down 12.2%, 3.3 percentage points lower than that of the first ten months.

 

From January to November in 2016, Guangzhou’s electromechanical products exports totaled 245.48 billion yuan, up 4.9% year on year, accounting for 51.6% of Guangzhou’s total exports in the period; exports of traditional seven categories labor-intensive products hit 138.19 billion yuan, slightly up 0.2%, accounting for 29% of Guangzhou’s total exports in the period; the exports of natural gas reached 947,000 tons, up 13.6%, or 3.57 billion yuan, down 9.8%; and the exports of product oil reached 1.089 million tons, up 2.2%, or 2.72 billion yuan, down 24.3%.
