Guangzhou held the 2017 Fortune Global Forum Promotion Meeting in Paris, France on January 20, and received participants’ recognition of the charm of Guangzhou, the City of Rams.

The 2017 Fortune Global Forum, to be held in December in Guangzhou this year, has the theme of Openness & Innovation: Shaping the Global Economy. Guangzhou will offer good experience for the forum’s participants, and create them a communication platform, said the city’s vice mayor Cai Chaolin. Guangzhou is full of confidence to successfully hold the large-scale global forum.

In recent years, Guangzhou has been in the front of reform and opening-up, pooled a group of powerful foreign- and domestic-funded enterprises, and showcased prosperous urban outlook, open and inclusive business environment, said Gao Yuanyuan, minister-counsellor of the Commercial Department of Chinese Embassy in France.

Guangzhou has impressive charm, said the entrepreneurs of French enterprises. “Guangzhou is an important and influential city, and we’ll spread sustainable development here to become a model for green growth,” said Loic Armand, president of L'Oréal Group French Company.
