On the morning of February 16, the project to construct the Business Aviation Service Building at Baiyun International Airport was launched, marking that the construction of the Business Aviation FBO at Baiyun airport has been started in an all-around way.

 

The project, which is one of the key construction projects of Guangzhou and even Guangdong province, is the main structure of the Business Aviation FBO at Baiyun airport. It will have functional components for independent security check, joint inspection and flight services. The built-up Business Aviation FBO will serves as a general airport with integrated functions except for sharing the runways with Baiyun airport. The project will be put into use before December 2017, when the Fortune Global Forum will be held in Guangzhou and therefore a great number of important guests from all over the world will come to Guangzhou by business aircraft. Then, the Business Aviation FBO at Baiyun airport will welcome all of the distinguished guests with a brand-new appearance.

 

So far, the business aviation market of China has entered the channel for a fast development. In the coming 10 years, China is expected to become the third largest business aviation market in the world. The construction of the FBO at Baiyun airport will totally offset the weakness of Baiyun airport due to lack of dedicated business aviation facilities and make up the short board of the airport for the construction of air transport hub.
