National Crafts Trade Fair to Be Held in Guangzhou Tomorrow

A variety of exquisite crafts, including celadon, Jun porcelain, Ru porcelain, root carvings, boxwood carvings, Dongyang wood carvings, Yangzhou lacquerware, Chengdu lacquerware, Fujian bodiless lacquerware, will be exhibited in Guangzhou again. It is learned that the 52nd  National Crafts Trade Fair will be opened from March 1 to 5, 2017 at the exhibition hall of China Guangzhou Import and Export Trade Fair. This is the fifth time for the event to be held in Guangzhou.
 
This trade fair has an exhibition area of up to 50,000 square meters, consisting of more than 2,300 international standard booths for several main exhibition areas such as simulated flowers and matched supplies, arts and crafts, and Guangdong pavilion. It will consist of the model figure award ceremony of the arts and crafts industry, 2017 Golden Phoenix Innovative Product Design Competition and other programs. Hall 1-4, with more than 1,800 exhibition booths, are for the simulated flowers and matched supplies. The delegations from Guangdong and Tianjin have totally occupied more than 1,100 of them, and developed a hundred of new products such as beautiful flowers, green plants, vivid vegetable and fruits and flower receptacles and vases. The exhibition will showcase simulated palm trees of more than 10 meters high, presenting a southern scenery for visitors. Tang Jianguo, deputy secretary-general of China Arts and Crafts Association, one of the sponsors, said that Guangzhou is not only one of the first famous historical cities, but also an open and diversified city, and a power of arts and crafts of China. It has ranked among the top in China for dozens of years in terms of product production and earning foreign exchanges through exports. This is an important reason that Guangzhou is chosen to hold the fair for the 5th time.
