Information released through the official website of the Ministry of Commerce on February 25 indicated that the Chinese and South Korean parties have initiated all the text of the China-ROK Free Trade Agreement. Both sides have confirmed all the content of the agreement. So far, the negotiation on the China-ROK Free Trade Zone has been finished.

 

The negotiation was launched in May 2012. In November 2014, in Beijing, heads of the two countries jointly announced to conclude the substantial negotiation.

For China, the China-ROK Free Trade Agreement is the free trade agreement with the largest trade volume and the widest coverage so far.
