The eye-catching Outline of the 13th Five-Year Plan (draft) was submitted to the Fourth Session of the 12th National People’s Congress (NPC) on March 5. The draft unveils a development chart featuring more innovation vitality, and emphasizing development quality and people’s livelihood to the world.
 
“Optimizing the hub distribution and building the international comprehensive transport hubs of Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou”, Guangzhou’s international transport hub construction initiative was included in the draft of the 13th Five-Year Plan of the central government. This important message highly inspired deputies to the NPC and members of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) at the meeting. In the following five years, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou will serve as three legs of a tripod and develop the Golden Triangle of opening-up transport network of China.
 
Guangzhou, as an international comprehensive transport hub, will develop internationalized airport, seaport and railway port, expressway port and information port and function as a comprehensive transport hub in the economic and social development and foreign relations of China, said experts.
