Nansha Free Trade Zone Unveiled on April 21

At 12:10, April 21, Guangzhou Nansha New Area Zone was unveiled after the opening ceremony of China (Guangdong) Free Trade Pilot Zone. Ren Xuefeng, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and secretary of CPC Guangzhou Committee, unveiled the plate of Nansha Free Trade Zone. Chen Jianhua, deputy secretary of CPC Guangzhou Committee and mayor of Guangzhou, addressed the ceremony. Guangzhou announced ten innovative businesses and initiated ten platforms of Nansha Free Trade Zone, and issued business licenses for 100 new enterprises established in the free trade zone on its first day.   
 
The ten innovative businesses are: 1) new mechanism for rapid customs inspection and release; 2) Guangzhou Port Group teaming up with Guangzhou Customs for the first DIT business; 3)the smart inspection port of Guangdong Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau making the first GQD business; 4)Nansha National Tax Bureau and Nansha Local Tax Bureau starting electronic taxation business; 5) Bank of China starting Financing-lease Express, 6) China Construction Bank starting Cross-border Direct Loan Express; 7) Industrial and Commercial Bank of China issuing innovative financing products for cross-border investment and financing; 8) Guangzhou Shipping Trade Co., Ltd. starting the first business; 9) Information center of Guangdong Free Trade Pilot Zone Nansha New Area; and 10) Inspection after customs clearance, zero-waiting for ship’s custom clearance.
 
The ten platforms are: 1) Headquarters for international business of China Communications Construction Company; 2) Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao cross-border business innovation base of Agricultural Bank of China; 3) Comprehensive finance innovation platform of Bank of Communications; 4) Comprehensive finance service center of Ping An Bank; 5) The alliance of Zhujiang and Nansha’s financing lease industry; 6) Guangzhou Commodity Liquidation Center; 7) Guangzhou International Shipping Arbitration Court; 8) CITIC Bank Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao cross-border financial service platform; 9) CRCC South China Headquarters and High-speed Rail Export Base; and 10) Nansha Yacht Club Maritime Bonded Warehouse.
 
At the ceremony, Ren Xuefeng and other leaders granted business licenses for BOC Guangzhou Nansha Free Trade Zone Sub-branch and other 99 new enterprises. The 100 newcomers cover 10 fields, such as special high-end financial service, modern shipping service, port service and logistics, headquarters economy, advanced manufacturing, and high-end commercial service.
