With the official opening of Nansha Zone of Guangdong Free Trade Zone, Guangzhou released 10 innovation businesses. What’s worth of notice is that the rapid inspection and release mechanism initiated and promoted by Guangzhou Customs was first promoted in Nansha and will be promoted across the whole country after accumulating replicable experiences. With the new mechanism, the Customs clearance efficiency was improved by 50 percent and the logistics time of import and export goods was reduced from the original two to three days to one day. This move significantly reduced the Customs clearance costs and improved the efficiency.
