Beautiful and open, Spanish reporter Rafael described his impression to Guangzhou to his fellowmen. Media Guests from Countries along the Maritime Silk Road, jointly sponsored by the Information Office of Guangdong municipal government, China Radio International and china.com, was held in Guangdong from April 26 to 30. Reporters of 20 mainstream media from countries along the Maritime Silk Road gathered in Guangzhou to explore the history, culture and economic development of Guangzhou by ways of visiting the Palace of Nanyue Kingdom, ancient port of Huangpu and Canton Fair and other sites.  

 

The reporters from the 20 media from countries along the Maritime Silk Road of Europe, South America, Southeast Asia and Africa, and reporters from the central government of China, Hong Kong, Macao and local media of Guangdong Province, will make a five-day visit to Guangdong.

 

“It is a beautiful city,” blurted out Rafael, reporter of Spanish EFE, when talking about his impression to Guangzhou. The open business environment has also been highly praised by these foreign reporters. Some even missed the gathering time because they were so deeply attracted by the Canton Fair.
