The 117^th Canton Fair lowered the curtain on May 5, 2015. A total of 184,801 purchasers from 216 countries and regions attended the fair, decreasing 0.6% in participants comparing that of the 116^th Canton Fair. The total export turnover reached $28.056 billion, declining 9.64% comparing that in the Canton Fair held last spring.

 

Despite of the decrease of purchasers and export turnover, the Canton Fair saw the increase of foreign trade between Guangdong and countries along the One Belt One Road. A total of 80,954 participants came from these countries. The One Belt One Road brings new commercial opportunities, said Guangdong-based enterprises.
