South China’s Largest Intermodal Transportation Hub Settles in Guangzhou

Recently the ground-breaking ceremony of Suijia Logistics South China Air-Land Intermodal Transportation Hub was held at the New Baiyun International Airport. It is learned that this project was listed as a key project signed in 2014 of the government under the agenda of “new Guangzhou, new opportunity” and a key industrial project of construction of 2015. It is jointly developed by Suijia Logistics Co. Ltd. and Guangdong Airport Authority.
 
The South China Air-Land Intermodal Transportation Hub is the main venue of Suijia’s “logistics + industrial park”. Covering an area of 249mu, the project has a total investment of RMB350 million with a total construction area of 200,000 square meters, says Qian Meng, responsible person of Suijia Logistics.
 
Qian says this project will aim at building Guangzhou into an aviation metropolis, and Baiyun Airport into the largest and world-level passenger and freight transportation hub of South China and providing safe, high efficient logistics services at a low cost for the manufacturing, cross-border e-commerce and commercial and trade logistics industries.
