Guangdong Ranks China’s First for the Number of CCC Certificates and Enterprises

June 9 is the 9th World Accreditation Day which was jointly set up by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC). The theme for World Accreditation Day 2016 is: Accreditation: A Global Tool to Support Public Policy.
 
In order to implement the quality power strategy, give full play to the foundation role of accreditation on quality and technology and better service to the supply-side reform, the Administration of Quality and Technology Supervision of Guangdong Province held the publicity and consulting activities in Zhongshan for the World Accreditation Day 2016 cum Creating National Quality Power Demonstration City of Zhongshan on June 8. A total of 13 accreditation and inspection institutions, including China Quality Certification Center South China Laboratory, carried out the home appliance safety risk assessment, sphygmomanometer calibration, precious metal weighing and kitchen appliance inspection and other public services, and publicized the elevator emergency knowledge by means of the escalator emergency drilling and elevator model exhibition.
 
As of the end of 2015, a total of 15,000 enterprises have obtained 110,000 CCC certificates in Guangdong, and Guangdong ranked the first of the number of enterprises and certificates in China, up 55% and 59% respectively compared with that at the end of the 12th Five-Year Plan period. A total of 92,000 enterprises passed the management system certification, ranking among the first of China, up 59% compared with that at the end of the 12th Five-Year Plan period.
