Today Summer Davos kicks off its second day. Tonight Guangzhou Night sponsored by Guangzhou municipal government will be held in Tianjin. Several hundreds of distinguished guests, including leaders of domestic and overseas renowned corporations, celebrities and governmental representatives, will get together to experience the charms of the time-honored capital of commerce.

The typical Guangzhou local food, Lingnan music performance of Thunder without Rain, Chinese Banana in Rain, Moon over the Peaceful Lake in Autumn, Dragon Boat Racing, Cloud chasing Moon, Rising Higher Step by Step and Guangzhou ballads, three kinds of carving, fresco and Guangzhou embroidery will be present at Summer Davos.

 

The traditional technique is an integral part of Lingnan culture, fostered in the Pearl River Delta and left many exquisite works. The three kinds of carving, fresco and Guangzhou embroidery are representative of Lingnan culture and have been passed on from generation to generation. Under the concept of “what is of ethnic is of the world”, Guangzhou traditional arts and crafts rejuvenate at the event. Exhibition of the traditional arts and crafts will be set up for guests to experience charms of Lingnan culture.
