The 5^th China (Guangzhou) International Finance Expo (the Finance Expo), a three-day event, was successfully concluded on June 26 in Guangzhou.

 

Themed on “prudent finance, and service innovation”, the event consisted of one main forum and seven sub-forums, and attracted 308 exhibitors, matched 45 projects and signed agreement of intent of RMB333.8 billion. And exhibitors released 236 on-site preferential measures and held 56 roadshow and promotion programs.

 

The three-day event is a great success. According to the preliminary statistics of the sponsor, it has attracted 128,000 visitors and 1,200 job applicants.

 

As for the actual financial transactions, the banks granted RMB10 million of loans to individual customers, and received delegation of RMB12.53 million of money management businesses. The account opening for securities transaction amounted to RMB55.6 million. The insurance industry sold 16,403 insurance plans with total premium of RMB54.8605 million and total coverage of RMB9.415 billion.

 

The Finance Expo has seen agreement signing of 45 projects, involving the bank credit granting, cross-border loans, equity financing, financial leasing, and private debts, effectively promoting the matching between the financial capital and industrial entities and realizing the financial industry’s function of supporting real economy.

 

In addition to the transactions, the Finance Expo has effectively acted as a platform integrating the financial achievement exhibition, financial reform promotion, financial knowledge publicity, financial academic exchanges, industrial matching, product marketing, equipment exhibition, talent recruitment and financial investment attraction.

 

By integrating promotion, roadshow, and Guangzhou youth entrepreneurship competition and other activities of cross-border projects, projects under the youth business board and Guangzhou scientific and technological enterprises innovation projects, the Finance Expo established a bridge and a financing platform between the innovation and startup projects and capital to promote the settlement and cashing of innovation projects and help the financial industry support innovation and entrepreneurship.
