The 16^th China (Guangzhou) International Food Exhibition & Guangzhou Import Food Exhibition and the the Belt and Road Alliance of International Chambers of Commerce (AICC) Brand-name Products and Food Fair, organized by Guangzhou General Chamber of Commerce, opened on June 29 at Pazhou Exhibition Hall. The three-day event has attracted more than 1500 exhibitors from more than 60 countries and regions, with an exhibition area of more than 60,000 square meters. It is predicted the event will attract 100,000 visitors, exceeding the previous session by far.

 

The most noticeable feature of the event is the AICC Brand-name Products and Food Fair which is held in Guangzhou for the first time. This is a practical action to implement the Belt and Road initiative and the first commercial project after the establishment of AICC established by Guangzhou General Chamber of Commerce and domestic and foreign chambers of commerce.

 

More than 30 forums and activities will be held during the exhibition, including China Consumer Goods Market Imported Food Development Forum, 2016 Guangzhou International Food Exhibition Buyers Meeting, 2016 Guangzhou International Water Appreciation Competition and other highlights, leading the industrial development.
