Nearly three months have passed since the unveiling of Guangdong Free Trade Pilot Zone (Nansha) on April 21, 2015. Over the past period, Nansha Free Trade Zone(FTZ) has made remarkable achievements in system innovation and urban construction, and attracted the eyeballs across the world. Nansha FTZ is China’s No. 1 in governmental purchase inspection, rapid customs inspection and release, and “smart inspection port” etc. The number of Nansha-based enterprises sees an explosive growth. In the 1^st half this year, the number of newly established enterprises in Nansha doubled that in the same period last year.

 

Since the unveiling of Nansha FTZ, enterprises have swarmed to Nansha. Thanks to the FTZ effect, the number of newly established enterprises in Nansha sees an explosive growth. In the first half this year, a total of 2,648 enterprises were established, up 201% year on year, with  a registered capital increase of about 46.1 billion yuan, up 427% year on year. Since it was approved as a state-level new district in September 2012, Nansha has kept a relatively rapid growth in the number of market entities. By the end of June, the number of Nansha’s market entities had reached 39,826.
