Guangdong Sees Net Growth of 2.7 Million Market Entities through the Past Three Years
Release time:2017-07-14
Guangdong saw a net growth of 2.7 million market entities through the past three years, exceeding a half of the total before the province implementing the business system reform. In the first half of 2016, the figure of newly registered market entities has maintained a rapid growth continuously, reached 765,000 entities, up 12.9% year-on-year.
The high demand on social investment and business startups and the large number of foreign-funded enterprises in Guangdong Province in combination result in higher requirements on easy business registration. In 2012, Guangdong implemented the business registration system reform pilots in Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Dongguan and Shunde District of Foshan as the first upon approval from the General Administration for Industry and Commerce and Guangdong provincial government. As the reform conditions grew mature, Guangdong provincial government printed and distributed the Business Registration System Reform Plan of Guangdong in January 2014, deploying the task of promoting the business registration system reform across the province.
Yuan Baocheng, vice governor of Guangdong Province, said it is an important reform mission for Guangdong to take a lead in promoting the business registration system reform. Guangdong would center on streamlining administration and delegating power to the lower level while optimizing regulation and services to further deepen the business registration reform, comprehensively implement the negative list management mode, accelerate the steps of improving administrative services, earnestly strengthen the in-process and follow-up supervision, promote construction of the new type market supervision system under the new situation and facilitate the creation of a market-oriented, law-based and internationalized business environment.
