On July 13, Guangzhou deliberated and adopted the Catalog of the Enterprise-related Administrative and Institutional Charges of Guangzhou and the Catalog of the Institutional Enterprises-Related Operating Service Charges at the executive meeting. The two catalogs include 126 items. Except for these items, no other charges are allowed to be imposed on enterprises. Any price-related violations can be reported to the competent authority through the hot line 12358.

 

The catalogs will be publicized at the official website of Guangzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission. Dynamic management will be implemented for the catalogs. The price authority will timely update and adjust the items in case of any changes. By principle the items on the catalogs will be further shortened in the dynamic adjustment.

 

In recent years, Guangzhou has earnestly carried through the national and provincial policies that are related to burden reduction and fee regulation and formulated relevant policies according to the actual situation. The city has canceled or reduced many administrative charges, effectively reducing the burdens of enterprises and the society.

 

It is learned that since 2010, Guangzhou has canceled a batch of administrative charges each year. As of 2014, 71 items have been canceled, the rates for four items was lowered and the micro and small enterprises have been exempted from 41 charges. The burden reduction amount has kept increasing year by year. In 2014 the annually reduced amount reached nearly RMB5 billion.
