On July 21, Guangzhou Municipal Industrial and Commercial Bureau made an announcement. In the 1^st half, a total of 100,000 business entities were registered in Guangzhou, up 10% year on year, including 48,620 private businesses, up 24.02% year on year. The total registered capital reached 195.695 billion yuan, up 150.23% year on year.

 

By the end of June, Guangzhou has set up 1.247 million business entities, consisting of 20,306 foreign-funded enterprises (incl. 8,168 branches) with registered capital of $74.023billion, 46,304 domestically funded enterprises with registered capital of 769.304 billion yuan, 408,518 private enterprises with registered capital of 1.00154 trillion yuan,768,038 individual units of industry and commerce with registered capital of 17.183 billion yuan, and 1,093 farmer’s special cooperatives with registered capital of 1.248 billion yuan.
