18Million Yuan Subsidies to 3,000MSMEs in E-commerce Development
Release time:2017-08-09

On August 4, the 2015 Guangdong Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises(MSMEs)’s Access to E-commerce Platforms was officially launched. The project is one of the measures to carry out the spirit of the provincial MSMEs working conference held by Guangdong Provincial Government on July 31. Aiming to expand marketing channels for the province’s MSMEs, Guangdong Provincial MSME Development Fund will offer 18 million yuan to support the project. In addition, jd.com and suning.com will also offer expense discounts to 3,000 Guangdongs’ MSMEs to land the two large B2C e-commerce platforms.

In detail, each enterprise first joining the two e-commerce platforms will have a subsidy of 6,000 yuan from the provincial budget. The two platforms will reduce or cancel relevant expenses during MSME’s first year operation on the platforms and help more than 3,000 MSMEs to realize online distribution.

Noticeably, the provincial project subsidies to MSMEs are first come first served. And the same enterprise is not allowed to enjoy the incentives twice, i.e. subsidies only offered to the landing of  either of the two platforms even landing both.
