Guangzhou is going to release the Three-Year (2015-2017) Action Plan to Accelerate Development of Headquarters Economy, aiming to finish identification of totally more than 500 headquarters enterprises by 2017, including 100 ones identified from 2015 to 2017. Of the 100 enterprises, there will be newly introduced Fortune 500 enterprises, well-known multinationals, Top 500 Chinese Enterprises, Top 500 Service Enterprises of China, Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises of China and Top 500 Private Enterprises of China.

 

The development of the headquarters economy of Guangzhou will be further accelerated. It was learnt that, to meet the requirements raised at the Sixth Plenary Session of the 10^th CPC Guangzhou Committee for “making three-year action plan for development of headquarters economy and racing to control the commanding height of headquarters economy”, the Standing Committee of the CPC Guangzhou Committee reviewed and adopted the Three-Year (2015-2017) Action Plan to Accelerate Development of Headquarters Economy (hereinafter referred to as the Action Plan) based on the experience of Beijing and Shanghai and the actual conditions of Guangzhou.

 

The Action Plan proposes to lay equal stress on introduction and incubation of headquarters enterprises, attach equal importance to domestic and foreign headquarters enterprises, accelerate concentration of high-grade headquarters resources, further improve the status and influence of Guangzhou in international economic competition, and set both qualitative and quantitative objectives to fulfill the task to develop a center of headquarters economy in South China.
