Since September 1, Guangzhou will put the “One License and One Code” registration mode into all-around practice. Then, instead of applying for business license, organization code certificate and tax registration certificate with different authorities, including the administration for industry and commerce, the department for quality supervision and the national and local tax bureaus, companies and farmers' specialized cooperatives (hereinafter referred to as the enterprises) newly established in Guangzhou may apply for the new version of business license with unified social credit code by submitting one application and one set of documents at one service window of competent administration for industry and commerce.

 

It used to take 20 working days for enterprises to apply for the license and certificates mentioned above. Now, thanks to the new registration mode, it only takes three working days to obtain the new version of business license.

 

The credit code on the business license consists of five parts (18 numbers). The first part (first number) is the code of the registration administration department. The second part (second number) is the code of organization type. The third part (third to eighth numbers) is the code of the administrative division where the registration administration department is located. The fourth part (ninth to 17^th numbers) is the code of subject identifier. The fifth part (18^th number) is the check code, usually in Arabic numeral or English letter.

 

It was learnt that, the enterprises established earlier may apply for the new version of business license when making change of registration. They should return the business license, organization code certificate and tax registration certificate issued earlier to get the new business license with unified social credit code.
