Guangzhou has made the zero breakthrough in the aircraft leasing business. On the afternoon of September 22, the handover ceremony for the first leasing aircraft that was introduced under the SPV mode was held in Guangzhou Aerotropolis. Chen Rugui, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Guangzhou Municipal Committee and executive deputy mayor of Guangzhou, leaders of Guangzhou Aerotropolis Administrative Committee, relevant departments of Guangzhou, districts and agencies stationed in Guangzhou, attended the ceremony. Under the witness of all guests, Nansha Development Zone Administrative Committee signed Memorandum of Understanding with Tianjin Bohai Leasing Co. Ltd. on the introduction of Airbus A330 and the handover of the aircraft after reaching Guangzhou.

 

The aircraft leasing will effectively lower the operating costs of airlines companies, optimize the structure of assets and liabilities, rapidly enlarge the asset size and increase flexibility of the operation strategy, says Bohai Leasing Co. Ltd. Jiang Jianjun, director of Nansha District Finance Bureau, said, “by establishing SPV in Nansha, we can keep the majority of the leasing profits in China and improve the local and state tax incomes.” It is said that this aircraft can bring nearly RMB180 million of state tax incomes for Nansha.
