To Provide More Help for Cooperation between Chinese and Foreign SMEs

On the morning of October 10, the International Industrial Cooperation and Investment Negotiation Fair of the 13th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF) opened in Guangzhou. Zhu Xiaodan, governor of Guangdong province, Anzoumana MOUTAYE, minister of State Entrepreneurship, Handicraft Industry and SMEs, Kalraj Mishra, Indian Union Cabinet Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Xin Guobin, vice minister of  Industry and Information Technology, Yuan Baocheng, vice governor of Guangdong, and Liu Qiang, vice president of the Bank of China, attended the activity.
 
This August, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Bank of China made the Five-Year Action Plan for Promoting International Development of SMEs (2016 to 2020), aiming to organize a series of activities to promote cross-border cooperation between Chinese and foreign SMEs, make innovation of financial support modes and help the Chinese SMEs integrate into the global market.
 
This fair attracted 352 foreign enterprises from 15 countries (regions), including India and Russia, and 459 domestic SMEs to participate in the on-site negotiations.
 
Zhu Xiaodan visited the cross-border cooperation promotion service exhibition area of the Bank of China and listened to the introduction made by related person in charge of the Bank of China to actions of the bank for responding to “the Belt and Road” initiative of China and providing “services to promote cross-border cooperation between global SMEs”. Zhu Xiaodan also had a cordial talk with representatives of Chinese and foreign SMEs and got a better understanding of their negotiations.
 
Zhu Xiaodan highly praised the practices of the sponsors of the fair in holding the fair in an innovative way, providing a platform for communication, providing financial services and promoting the exchange and cooperation between Chinese and foreign SMEs. He hopes that the sponsors will further improve the mechanism for holding the fair in the future to expand the scale of the fair and form up brand effect to provide more substantial help for the Chinese and foreign SMEs to enhance exchange and cooperation and make joint efforts to explore market. The government of Guangdong will continue to provide strong support and create a good environment for the holding of the fair.
