Pan-Pearl River Delta Integrated Inspection, Quarantine and Customs Clearance Launched
Release time:2017-10-14

With nearly six months of preparation, the Pan-Pearl River Delta Integrated Inspection, Quarantine and Customs Clearance was officially rolled out in October 2015, which consists of seven inspection and quarantine bureaus of Guangdong, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Guangxi, Hainan, Fujian and Xiamen directly under the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China (AQSIQ), covering Guangdong, Fujian, Guangxi and Hainan.

The integrated inspection, quarantine and customs clearance system is a measure taken by AQSIQ to implement the deployment of the State Council on the information exchange, mutual recognition of supervision information and mutual assistance in the law enforcement. It is designed based on the integrated customs declaration, inspection and clearance to implement “direct export release and direct import release” and further strengthen coordination between inspection and quarantine administrations by optimizing the internal business procedure and promoting information exchange to facilitate trade.

Under the integrated customs clearance mode, the customs clearance time of exports can be shortened by 0.5 to 2 days and the customs clearance of imports can be shortened by one to 10 days, effectively lowering costs on the port customs declaration, inspection and warehousing and improving the regional competitiveness in the international trade.
