The government of Guangzhou decided to add investment to encourage launch of businesses in Guangzhou. The 184^th Executive Meeting of the 14^th People’s Government of Guangzhou held on October 12 reviewed and adopted the decision to invest RMB1.1 billion from 2015 to 2019 as subsidies to support business launch. The new measures on subsidies will be issued within half a month. Eligible new entrepreneurs, companies and entrepreneurship bases may apply for ten kinds of lump-sum subsidies, such as those for business launch, employment driven by business launch and business incubation.
