First Self-operated Logistics Base for Global Purchase of JD.com Established in Guangzhou

Recently, JD.com (South China) announced to fully launch the preparation for the “Double 11” promotion activities. The company said that, from November 1 to November 11, it will carry out a number of activities, including discounts, promotions and activities of cross-border e-business operators. Moreover, it will provide subsidies for its members engaged garment business by providing free warehousing and delivery services. It aims to enable all the consumers in South China to participate in the feast of consumption.
 
It is learnt that, to eliminate the restrictions on the direct mailing operations of the cross-border e-business operators and improve the services for the users, JD.com put its self-operated logistics base for global purchase in Guangzhou. Currently, the warehouse of JD.com for global purchase in Nansha has more than 1.2 million kinds of products on sale, which belong to more than 3,000 brands and more than 1,000 stores, dealing with 4,000 orders each day.
 
Yin Hongyuan, vice president of JD Group, said that, during the activities, the consumers in South China will be able to buy higher-quality imported products at lower price and in more convenient ways through the warehouse of JD.com for global purchase in Nansha. In addition, the self-operated warehouse of JD.com guarantees that the customers enjoy high-quality services for both global purchase and services related to the self-operated business of JD.com, and improves the order handling efficiency and ensures the security of information about the customers.
 
In the future, JD.com will spare no efforts to establish the warehouse for self-operated cross-border e-business and accelerate the establishment of partnerships with related enterprises to expand the business scale and propel a scale effect in the field of cross-border e-business in Guangzhou.
