The International Airport Center (IAC) is the first industrial project in the headquarters park of the Aerotropolis of Guangzhou. The exhibition center under the project opened on October 15. Statistics showed that more than 6,000 groups of people visited it that day. From May 30, when land use for the project was approved, to the opening of the exhibition center, the IAC project took only 138 days to attract great attention with its highly efficient construction. Latest news said that the LOFT experience zone under the project will open on October 30.

 

To build a cluster of headquarters of aviation enterprises

 

The IAC is located at the core area of the airport economic circle, covering a total building area of 900,000 square meters. As the first commercial complex in the area, it serves as a bridgehead. Using the “pan-airport economy” development mode and the “port-industry-city integration” concept as reference, it will make great efforts to develop high-end airport-based industry chain. With the fast rising of the Aerotropolis, the airport economy projects represented by the IAC will become new economic growth poles of Guangzhou.

As the first project in the headquarters park, the project has attracted great attention and gained great support from the government departments. It was learnt that, the project has attracted a number of large enterprises, including Hangwan Group, United Family Healthcare, Hongtu Aviation, ST Aerospace, YI Business Aviation Service and CH.COM. The FBO project developed by YI Business Aviation Service at the southeast side of the southern working area of Baiyun International Airport has attracted the attraction of a great number of domestic mainstream business aircraft enterprises.

 

It was said that, after the completion of the project, the runways of Baiyun airport will be used for the take-off and landing of the aircrafts under the project. In addition, VIP channels for domestic and international passengers taking the business aircrafts will be opened. There will be independent security check, joint inspection, flight service station, independent terminal building and special parking apron and maintenance hangar for business aircrafts. To facilitate business operations and linked operation, many business aircraft enterprises have shown strong intent for settling down at the headquarters park near Baiyun airport.

 

Later, the IAC project is expected to introduce airport government service center, headquarters of large airlines and enterprises engaged in business finance and e-business. In the future, with the introduction of various enterprises, high technologies and capitals as well as the concentration of high-quality talents, the regional value of the Aerotropolis will be further improved.

 

One-stop comprehensive supporting services

 

It was learnt that, the IAC project consists of six zones, including the Airlines’ Headquarters Zone, the Aviation Business Exhibition and Trading Zone, the Aviation Supporting Service Zone, the Aviation Finance Headquarters Zone, the Aviation-related Government Service Zone and the Airport-based E-Business Zone. It is thoughtfully designed to develop business and diversified value-added supporting services, such as the Global Overseas Commodity Direct Selling Zone, the United Family Healthcare, the Greenland Overseas Study Base and the Remote Check-in Building. In addition, two starred hotels will be built, and international business street and theme square covering an area of 30,000 square meters will be constructed to set up a diversified and highly dynamic comprehensive community.

 

Related responsible staff member of Greenland Group said that the construction of the project is being accelerated and is expected to be completed at the end of 2020. Then, it will be an industrial complex consisting of two high-star hotels, a featured business street covering an area of 30,000 square meters and modern office buildings covering a total building area of 580,000 square meters. It is predicted that nearly 500 enterprises will settle down at the headquarters park.

 

The LOFT experience zone under the IAC project will open on October 30. Then, a LOFT unit of a storey height of 4.5 meters will be exhibited. It adopts flexible and changeable double-key layout design that enables combination with other units for living or business purposes.
