From January to October, the total imports and exports of the cross-border e-business operators of Guangzhou reached RMB6.54 billion (including imports through direct purchase), increasing by 9.2 times year-on-year, ranking top nationwide. Guangzhou now has 777 enterprises dealing with cross-border e-business, including 630 e-business companies, 112 logistics companies and 35 settlement companies.

 

The high-speed development of cross-border e-business pilot projects has driven the sharp increase of the consumption of related imported products. So far, more than 20 cross-border e-business experience stores and display stores have been established in Guangzhou. The O2O mode has a fast development. During the “November 11” shopping carnival (from November 9 to 15) of this year, the Guangzhou Customs inspected and released products of a total value of about RMB300 million, increasing by 8.7 times year-on-year.
