Honor Device Co Ltd, the Chinese phone maker that has gained full independence from Huawei, unveiled its latest 5G smartphone featuring slim design and fast charging technologies.

The Honor V40 Lite Luxury Edition comes with a curved 6.57-inch panel and on the front, it has a centered punch hole cutout for its 32-megapixel selfie camera. On the back, it has a 64-megapixel primary lens alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide snapper. The two are accompanied by a pair of 2-megapixel modules for macro photography and depth data.

The smartphone features a 3,800 mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. It came as Honor works hard to revive its sales in the Chinese market after it was sold by Huawei in November to a Chinese consortium of over 30 agents and dealers to ensure the brand's survival.

Zhao Ming, CEO of Honor, said earlier the company aims to reach a revenue exceeding 100 billion yuan ($15.33 billion) soon, amid ongoing efforts to expand its presence in the high-end smartphone segment and open more offline retail stores.
